Paul Crumbacher March 18, 1942 – January 23, 2025

Paul Crumbacher passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy, and is survived by his brother Tom, his seven children, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Born in 1942 to Edith and Paul Crumbacher, Paul was raised in Tucson, Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona, where he double-majored in English Literature and Spanish, later earning a master’s degree in Business from Pacific Lutheran University.

A man of many talents and passions, Paul loved music, playing the guitar and trumpet, and singing. He had a creative spirit, enjoying drawing, photography, and writing—authoring several short stories and a novel. He was also an avid outdoorsman who found joy in sailing, camping, and traveling.

In 1987, Paul moved to Santa Fe, where he became a business owner—a legacy that his sons continue to grow. Above all, Paul was a devoted husband and father, and his greatest love was for his family.

A funeral service will be held on June 21st at 10:00 AM at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church, followed by a celebration of life in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to ScottsHouse.org.

Paul will be deeply missed, but his love, creativity, and adventurous spirit will live on in all who knew him.
