Paul R. "Pete" Adams, 71, was tragically killed while flying his single engine plane on Saturday, August 25, 2007. Pete was a long time resident of Taos, New Mexico. Pete was born on October 12, 1935 in Gallion, OH. He was the eldest son of Paul R. and Vivian Adams. He attended Princeton University, class of 1957. Pete was loved and admired by his peers. He was an avid motorcyclist, pilot and golfer. Pete had a passion for life that enriched the lives of those around him. He was a devoted father and grandfather. His happiest times were those spent with his children and grandchildren. Pete is survived by his three sons, Paul R. "Pete" III of Winnetka, IL, Michael of Albuquerque and Christopher of Ann Arbor, MI. He was adored by his four grand daughters, Alyssa, Kelsey and Janet Adams of Albuquerque and Samantha Adams of Winnetka, IL. He is also survived by his brother Arthur Adams and his wife Marti of Springfield, MA and sister Vivian Adams Nylander of Albuquerque. He was loved and cherished by his daughters in law, Danette Kreider Adams of Albuquerque and Marguerite Quinn of Winnetka, IL and his niece Danielle Adams of Salt Lake City, UT. He was a friend to many, including his cherished dogs, Chewy and Charlie. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate the life of this wonderful man will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10 AM at the Taos Country Club in Taos NM. Pete requested donations in lieu of flowers.
