Pauline G. Vigil

Pauline G. Vigil, age 86, of Santa Fe, passed away on July 16, 2017. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Juan and Elizaria Griego, Sister, Josie Baca (Carlos), Brother, Juan Griego (Josefita). She is survived by her Husband, Abel Vigil, Son, Patrick Vigil (Lupe), of Las Cruces, Daughters: Yolanda Marie Garcia (Robert), of Las Cruces, Kathy Vigil, of Las Cruces, Erlinda Howley (Jeff), of Santa Fe, and son Jim Vigil (Bonny) of Santa Fe, her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pauline was a member of Cristo Rey Altar Society, Eucharistic Ministry and the Social Concerns Committee. She retired from Santa Fe Public Schools after 22 years of service. Pauline Vigil: Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, nourished the hearts and souls of all that she touched. The Vigil Family would like to give special thanks to Pauline’s caregivers; Tina Dominguez, Juanita Trujillo, and the extraordinary Ambercare staff. Visitation from 6-7pm followed by the Rosary will be on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in the Kiva Chapel of Light. There will be a Mass on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 11:00 am, at Cristo Rey Church, followed by Burial at 12:45pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The Pallbearers are: Mark Howley, Mathew Dynek, David Griego, Danny Baca, Bernie Griego, and James Dominick.
