Pauly Burt

Pauly Burt, 66, a very familiar face around Taos passed away on September 24, 2006. He was known as the "paperboy" for Taos. For over 50 years he sold the Taos News, New Mexican and Albuquerque Journal. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul J. Burt and sister, Rosamund Gutierrez. He is survived by his mother, Jewel Burt, brother, Gordon Burt (Cynthia) of Taos, sisters, Barbara Cozart (Duke) of Tres Piedras and Sylvia Archuleta of Taos, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Rosary was held on September 27, 2006 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass was on September 28, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment followed at Sierra Vista Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Four Corners Animal League, P.O. Box 1163, Taos, NM 87571 because of his love for animals.
