Pedro Gutierrez

Taos resident, Pedro Ernesto Pete Gutierrez, 55, a Mason, passed away in Canton, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Edmundo Gurierrez and grandmothers, Josefa Santistevan and Carolina Gutierrez. He is survived by son, Pedro Gutierrez, daughter, Kristy Gutierrez, mother, Lucy J. Himes, brothers, Anthony Gutierrez (Oclides), Roberto Skipper Gutierrez (Patsy) and William Himes (partner, Rose), nieces, nephews and several special cousins. Pete served in the US Army six years during the seventies and was Honorably discharged July 14, 1980. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment following at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
