Pedro Montoya

Pedro “Pete” Montoya a resident of Agua Fria Village was called home to be with our Lord on Friday May 12, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Pedro is preceded in death by his beloved wife Viola; son Roderick “Ronnie”; granddaughter Amanda Martinez; parents: Florentino and Hortencia Montoya; brother Luis Montoya; brothers-in-law: Carmello Arocho, Leo Martinez, and Ray Ledger; In-laws: Isidro and Mercedes T Lopez; sisters-in-law: Angie Lopez, Mary Dora Lujan, Rachel Perea (Ramon), Adelina Hernandez (Arturo), Luisa Garcia (Tony); brothers-in-law: Orlando Lopez (Thelma) and David Atencio.

He is survived by his daughter Donna Roybal (David), and sons Damian Montoya and Dion Montoya (Debbie).

Grandchildren Anjelica (Fiancée Levi), Janiell (JT), Kristyn (Jeremy), Aaron (Gennave), Evan, Sarah (Fiancée Patrick), Vanessa (Suzette), Felisha (Armando) and Raquel (Johnny).

Great-Grandchildren Marcus, Ezekiel, Angelo, Sareya, Jacey, Kylie, Kinsley, AJ, Viola, Scarlett, Izaiah (Marissa), Elijah, Xzavier, Navayah, Donnivyn, Nazeraya, Zia and Liamor.

Family Rosie Arocho, Orlando Montoya (Cordy), Gloria Montoya and Ramona Tapia (Fred); brothers-in-law: Eusebio Lopez and Fernando Lujan; sisters-in-law: Frances Atencio and Mary Urban (Fred) and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and godchildren.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday May 24th 6:00pm at San Isidro Center. Funeral Mass to be held on Thursday May 25th 9:30am at San Isidro Center with a procession following to the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11am. The reception will be held at the Elks Lodge.
