Pedro Ortega

PEDRO (PETE) ORTEGA, 68, of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015. He was born July 4, 1947 in Santa Fe, the of Pauline Marino. He and Claudine Barela were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 29, 2000. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Pauline Marino and his father and mother-in law, Reyes and Corrine Barela. Pete is survived by his loving wife Claudine Ortega; 2 daughters, Angela Ortega (George) and Monique Parks (James); 2 sons, Chris Garcia (Melissa) and Adam Garcia (Sonya), all of Santa Fe; his brother, Joe Ortega (Judy) of Sacramento, CA; sisters-in-law, Tonia Vigil (Carlos), Bernice Lucero (David), Janet Barela (Robert), and Doreen Barela. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Chris, Jr, Ethan, Chloe, Atianna, Savannah, Kataleya, Amariah, Leticia, and Jordan; special niece, Angel, special nephew, Carlos Jr, and his special friend, Phil LeRouge. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM . Interment with full military honors will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 PM
