Petacio Trujillo

Petacio Trujillo, 96, a resident of Cordova passed away peacefully at his home on March 7, 2022. He was born on May 23, 1925. Petacio would light up the room with his sense of humor, always making everyone laugh. He enjoyed his daily cup of coffee and weekly Sonic burgers. He also took pride in being the most handsome viejito and having the most beautiful soft white hair. One of the things he also enjoyed doing was listening to his KDCE spanish music along with his son and best friend Donald Trujillo and saying “party time!”.

Petacio was preceded in death by his parents Meliton and Isabel Trujillo, wife Barbara, sons Jose, Porfirio, Meliton Jr. and Ricky Trujillo, daughter Sylvia Cordova, brother Juan B. Trujillo, son in-laws Oliver Trujillo and Eddie Romero.

He is survived by his sons William and Donald Trujillo of Cordova, daughters Ruby Trujillo and Geneva Romero of Cordova, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A special grandson Kevin Trujillo who helped care for him and whom he loved dearly.

Mr. Trujillo will be cremated and due to the Covid-19 services will be held at a later date.

Genesis 3:19 in part states: “For dust you are and to dust you will return.” We love you very much dad and grandpa. You will be deeply missed by all of us.
