Pete Albert Martinez

Pete Albert Martinez of Espanola NM was born on March 3rd, 1969, in Espanola New Mexico to Horace and Juanita Martinez, and was called to his eternal rest on March 5th, 2025.

Pete was a man of many talents and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. In his free time, he enjoyed numerous things, but his favorites were riding his motorcycle, landscaping and being outdoors. He also had a passion for music and loved to play his drums whenever he could. Pete also had a special place in his heart for his most favorite holiday, the 4th of July. He was well known for his huge parties and the fireworks that he put on for all his family and friends to enjoy. His daughters and all the children would all gather in the pool to watch his firework shows (All orchestrated by him!) and he would have a DJ and someone on the drums going to the beat of the fireworks and music that played nonstop throughout the night.

Pete is preceded in death by his loving parents Horace and Juanita Martinez, Grandmother and Grandfather Genevieve and Jose Martinez, brothers Jimmy and JP Martinez and sisters Linda Morfin and Peggy Naranjo.

Pete is survived by his two daughters Miranda and Ashlynn Martinez, granddaughters Ava Martinez and Kailani Thomas, sisters Marie Moreland and Lena Trujillo, cousins Audra Martinez, Angelica Serrano, and Sonya De Los Santos. He is survived by his dog Carfax, a Pomeranian who he thought of as a son and who never left his side no matter what. Pete is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pete was a kind, loving, and generous person, and he will be deeply missed by all.

There will be a private family viewing held for the immediate family and formal services are pending at this time.
