Pete C. 'Pedro' Martinez

Pedro Celestino Lazaro Martinez Jr. May 19, 1937 ~ March 2, 2013 Age 75, a resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away on March 2, 2013. He is preceded in death by his son Pete P. Martinez III and parents Pedro and Apolonia Martinez. He is survived by his spouse Cecilia Martinez, sons Tony and Steve Martinez, daughters Liz Martinez and Cathy Montano, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brother Hilario Martinez, and sisters Aurelia Jimenez, Cora Juarez, Eufemia Ortega and Rose Sanchez, and many nieces and nephews. Pete was an avid fisherman at many of our NM lakes. He was medically retired from NM Department of Transportation District 5 and was also a member of San Isidro Catholic Church in Tesuque. A visitation and rosary were held on March 6, 2013. A funeral mass was celebrated on March 7, 2013. All services were held at the San Isidro Catholic Church in Tesuque. Interment followed. Donations can be made in Pete C. Martinez name at the State Employees Credit Union.
