Phillip A. Talachy

Mr. Phillip A. Talachy, age 80 of Alcalde, NM. died peacefully on Thursday August 4, 2011 in Albuquerque. He was born to the late Matias and Hazel Talachy in Rocky Ford, CO. in 1930. He joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1959. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends camping, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, and also his beloved wife Emily, sons; Jerome Talachy and Phillip Talachy, Jr., Valentin Romero and Gilbert Gonzales, brother Bobby Talachy and sister opal Talachy. He is survived by his children; Floyd Romero, Ramona and Companion Jesus, Johnny Gonzales, Renee Talachy and companion Waldo, Jackie Ramirez and companion Mauricio, Leandro Talachy and Emily Koons and husband Dwayne, 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, as well as other relatives. Recitation of the Rosary and visitation was August 10, 2011 at the chapel at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, interment followed at the Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde .
