Phillip Montoya

Phillip (Phil) Montoya, age 52, resident of Santa Fe, NM was born on September 3, 1970 and was called home to Heaven on September 11, 2022.

Phil was preceded in death by his wife Raquel Montoya, his grandparents, Pantaleon and Elvira Trujillo, his parents Yolanda Trujillo-Aguirre and Lawrence Montoya, brother Joaquin Montoya, and grandson John Montoya.

He is survived by his children, Phillip (Taz) Montoya (Andrea), James Montoya (Iesha), Dominic Montoya (Sally), Chris Montoya (Jannae), Josh Montoya, Glenn Montoya and Daniella Montoya, his step children, Ambrosio Tapia (Britney), Johnathan Tapia (Domonique), Chris Tapia (Tori), and their children, his sisters Marie Griego and Eva Montoya (Tina), his grandchildren, Kahlina, Diego, Mary Lou, Jesse Lee, James Jr., Julian, Jayce, Francisco, Christopher Jr., God children, Aaron Tenorio and Emily Montoya, nieces and nephews, Kyra, Vicente Jr., Christine, Amaythist, and Angelo, In Laws, Richard Halford (Angela), James Halford (Talia), Victoria Murphy (Dennis), Felicia Halford and Kathy Roberts, Mother in Law Monica Sosaya-Halford, and many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Phil, was a kind, hardworking man, he loved with all of his heart and his children and family were the most important thing to him. Phil will be dearly missed

Funeral Mass will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 10:30 am, interment to follow at Rosario Cemetery.
