The remaining ashes will be scattered at the family ranch in Colorado and at Castle Leod, seat of Clan Mackenzie in Scotland.
Pip loved so many and was loved by so many more. She had a brightness and light which left you remembering her and wanting to know her more. She left us much too soon. From childhood through adulthood, Piper faced life with joy, strength, courage and truth. She owned her issues with physical and emotional pain and dealt with them the best she could. Piper was born August 25th, 1993 at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. She was an artist, musician, and poet extraordinaire. Her intellectual curiosity led her to a varied and rich international education. After graduating from La Mariposa and Santa Fe High she graduated from Santa Fe University of Art and Design. She then continued her post graduate studies at Imperial College and Central Saint Martins in London. Her appreciation of the great beauty in the world filled her soul. When she couldn’t find that beauty, she created it.
She is survived by her mom and dad-Benita and Richard, sister Ali, brother-in-law Drew and Grandmother Helen. She also leaves behind her fur babies Cricket and Bolano.
Piper and her family appreciated her support system throughout the years, medical staff, friends and those she loved enough to call family.
Goodbye our fairy child. You discovered and spread so much magic in the world.
For donations, the family suggests the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in memory of Piper. https://www.jdrf.org/donate/
