Porfiria Rendon

Mrs. Porfiria Rendon, age 78 of Chama, NM. died peacefully on Thursday April 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her dear son Narciso Rendon, III. Mrs. Rendon, a lifelong resident of Chama, is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years Narciso S. Rendon, Jr., her children: Andrew Rendon and wife Gloria of Rio Rancho, Steve Rendon and wife Mary of Chama, Ignacita Mattox and husband Chuck of Paris, KY., Angela Vigil and husband Ramon of Chama, her sister Mary Ray and husband James of Albuquerque, grandchildren: Rebecca Lozano, Andres Rendon, Abrahn Rendon, Joslyn Rendon, Esteban Rendon, Aaron Rendon, Brad Mattox, Jennifer mattox, David Emory and Justin Emory, many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and other relatives. A public viewing will not be held as arrangements for cremation have been made. Recitation of the rosary will be on Sunday May 10th @ 7:00 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chama, The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am also at the same church, with Fr. Clement officiating. Interment will follow at The Chama Community Cemetery.
