Porfirio Cordova

Porfirio Necomedes Nick Cordova Jr., 83, of Lower Ranchitos Road passed away on November 19th, 2009. He retired from the Taos Municipal Schools and was a longtime member of San Francisco de Asis Church. He was preceded in death by wife of 43 years, Rosana Martinez Cordova, parents Porfirio Necomedes Sr. and Anna Maria Martin Cordova, sister Florida Casados, brothers Filadefio and Flavio Cordova, and son Rutilio Porfirio Cordova. He is survived by sons & daughters David Cordova (Lisa) of Taos, Edna Ramirez (Joseph) of Las Cruces, Bill Cordova (Rosie) of San Luis, AZ, Theresa Martinez (Reuben) of Blueberry Hill, Joanne Romero (Jeffrey), Walter Cordova of Taos, Betty Gonzales of Denver, CO, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Al Cordova of Fruita, CO, Jake Cordova (Mary) of Albuquerque, sisters Pablita Casados of Center, CO, Celina Torres (Ted) of Los Cordovas, and Victoriana Trujillo (Juan) of Albuquerque. Rosary for Porfirio will be recited Sunday, November 22nd at 7 PM at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 10 AM at San Francisco de Asis Church with interment to follow at the Los Alamitos Cemetery.
