Rafaelita Chacon

Rafaelita Chacon, 94, of Taos passed away on December 24, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Chacon, daughter, Ida Romo, son, Andrew Chacon and parents Venseslado and Octaviana Romero. She is survived by her children, Grace Velasquez (Daniel), Melvin Chacon, Joyce Tafoya, Manuel Chacon, Jr. (Alice) and Charles Chacon all of Taos. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter, brother, Olrando Romero (Alicia) and sister Kate Tafoya (Angelo). Rosary will be recited on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 6 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment to follow at the Dolores Cemetery in Canon. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
