Randell (Randy) Paul Martinez

Randell (Randy) Martinez, age 45, a resident of Chimayo, NM passed away on July 7, 2015. He was born on May 14, 1970 to Belarmino and Carmelita Martinez. He was preceded in death by his father, Belarmino G. Martinez, sister, Rosie Martinez Gallegos, grandmother Francisca (Nani) Martinez, grandfather, Valentin Martinez, grandmother, Eduarda Martinez and niece Lori Ann Gallegos. He is survived by his son, Randy Ortiz Martinez, mother, Carmen Martinez, sisters, Geraldine Martinez, Martha (Antonio) Trujillo, Annette (Rick) Martinez, brothers, Michael (Nelly) Martinez, James Martinez, Fabian Mendez, Noel (Perla) Martinez, he is also survived by his Godparents, Joe and Rosalie Baca. Randy was well known for his art work as an Artist, much of which can be seen throughout books, museums and cars throughout Northern New Mexico and other parts of the country. His work and who he was stands as a reflection of what Northern New Mexico culture was and has become today. He will never be forgotten and holds an important place in the hearts of people throughout Northern New Mexico. A memorial service took place on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Rivera Family Funeral Home, Espanola, NM.
