Raul P. Varos

Raul P. Varos, 29, of Taos passed away June 3, 2012. He was a Taos High School graduate and worked at the Taos Ski Valley, Mountain Home Health Care and Taos area restaurants. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hiking, skiing and the outdoors. He loved playing the guitar and was an excellent chef and was currently finishing his degree at UNM, Taos campus. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Quiteria Vigil, grandfather, Raul Varos and uncle, Leo Varos. He is survived by his parents, Iloramio and Anita Varos, sister, Gina Varos, brother, Isaac Varos, grandmother, Alice Varos, nieces, Julia, Lia and Gabi Varos. Funeral mass was held on June 6, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following at the Las Cruces Cemetery.
