You left us so suddenly it was hard to comprehend
How a life that burned so vividly had come abruptly to an end.
We were all left staring at the spark you set alight
In the hearts of those around you, that burned through our dark night.
The flame of our potential; all the great things we could do
If we would work, determined, and stand tall and firm and true.
You moved with so much energy it was easy to get caught
In the current and the power of the lessons that you taught.
So, you belong to the ages now, a legend big as day.
That soul who gave so much to life, our bright and shining Ray!
Private Family services have been held. A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be conducted at a later date.
