Reynaldo F. Cordova

Reynaldo F. Cordova 88, a resident of Chimayo Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017. He was born in Cundiyo on October 16, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents Cayetano and Louisita Cordova, his first wife Viola Cordova, two sons Augustine (Aggie) and Peter Cordova, his siblings Molly Wheeler, Pedro Cordova, Mary Dominguez, Grace Nuanes, parent in-laws Abelino and Faustina Martinez. Mr. Cordova is survived by his wife of 63 years Elaiza Cordova, his children Consuelo Maestas (Eddie), Danny Cordova (Maxine), Bert Cordova (Priscilla), Archie Cordova (companion Virginia), Angelo Cordova (companion Sandy), Isabel Cordova (Lloyd), Geneva Cordova (Victor). His Grandchildren Andrea, Antonio, Glen, Viola, Marty, Adan, Miguel, Jose, Daniel, Andrew, Antoinette, Jonathan, Matthew, Fabian, Tyler Rey, Christopher, Kimberly, Alexandra and Augustine. Eleven Great Grandchildren, a sister Della Roybal and a brother Medardo Vigil, brothers in-law Eppie Martinez (Rose), Cayetano Martinez (Tanya), Richard Martinez (+Marlene), Fidel Martinez, (Loyda), Anastacio Vigil and many other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 7:45 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Chimayo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Interment to follow at the Dolores Cemetery, Chimayo, NM. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Antonio Maestas, Marty Cordova, Adan Cordova, Andrew Cordova, Matthew Cordova, Tyler Rey Vigil-Cordova, Christopher Martinez, and Augustine Calderon. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of his Grandchildren. The Family of Reynaldo Cordova has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Rivera Family Funeral Home, Espanola, NM.
