Ricardo Chavez went home to our Lord and Savior on October 2nd, 2024.
Ricardo was born on August 20th, 1976, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to parents Manuel Chavez and Deborah Stauffer.
Ricardo was always filled with pure happiness, no matter what challenges he faced. He remained positive and looked on the bright side, earning respect for his kindness and friendliness. Many loved him dearly, and he could put a smile on anyone's face. Ricardo was always willing to help others without expecting anything in return, often saying, "May God bless you." He loved the Lord deeply and had a heart of gold that never wavered, making him a ray of sunshine. His presence will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Stauffer, father, Manuel Chavez, grandparent’s, Dolores Gutierrez, Gerald Stauffer, Erlinda Chavez, and Joe Chavez, uncles James Stauffer, and Ray Chavez, brother in-law, Victor Carranza, and cousin, Leroy Romero.
He is survived by his sisters, Carmella and Melissa Chavez, nieces Selena Chavez (Eric Trujillo), Esperanza Ortiz, and great niece, Amiyrah Victoria Daleen Trujillo, one and only nephew, Victor Chavez, auntie, Patrizia Gutierrez, uncles, Jake Garcia, Jerry Stauffer and kids, aunties, Debbie Vigil (Danny Vigil) and kids, Carol Chavez and kids, Victoria Work and kids, Diane (Grege Mendez) and kids, Lupita Gress, Eva Sanchez and kids, from Chamita, NM, along with numerous family and friends.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Church located at 22 Cities of Gold Road in Pojoaque, NM 87506. If you need any further information, please contact Carmella at (505)303-2820.
