1951 - 2025

Richard Ramsey, age 73, passed away on April 5th, 2025 at his home in Santa Fe, NM.

Richard lived a full and busy life. He was a contractor with his own construction business as well as ran a flower shop with his wife Nora. He was a very proud grandparent (known to his grandson Dez as "grandpa Rick"). He had a huge heart and cared deeply about people. He loved to garden, spend time with his animals (Charlie, Chica, Lucy, and Mellow), fix things, and he had a passion for Detroit sports, particularly the Lions and Tigers.

He grew up in Grosse Ile, Michigan in a large family with his mom, five brothers, and two sisters. He spent the last 40 years married to his loving wife Nora in Santa Fe.

Richard is survived by his wife, Nora; son, Dustin; daughter in law, Eun ; grandson, Desmond; sister, Gayle; and brothers, Jerry, Jim, and Pete.

Services for will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Rivera Funeral Home Kiva Chapel of Light, 417 Rodeo Rd., Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505
