Richard M. Roybal

Richard M. Roybal, age 70 of Santa Fe, NM. died peacefully on Tuesday May 12, 2009. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Roybal had also served in the US Army reserves. He was preceded in death by his parents Merigildo and Angelita Roybal, and sisters Valeria and Pina Ruiz. He is survived by his wife Kathy, son David Encinias and wife deborah of Santa Fe, daughter Donna Roybal-Graybill and husband Brian of PA., and son Kerry Roybal of CO., grandson Aaron Encinias, grandaughter Alicia Encinias, sisters; Brenda Tafoya and husband Gil of Taos, Mercedes Ferrero and husband Nathaniel of Cerro, Virginia Baca and husband David of Gallup and Piedad Rarick of Las Vegas, NV., brothers; Mike Roybal and wife Jane of Santa Fe and Freddy Roybal of Taos, as well as other relatives. Recitation of the rosary will be on Sunday evening at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe, with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am also at church. Interment will follow at The Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors.
