Robert "Bob" Sanchez

Robert (Bob) Sanchez, 64, resident of Lamy, New Mexico, passed away on December 09, 2021 due to  lengthy medical conditions. He was born on October 14, 1957 in Santa Fe, NM to Frutosa & Antonio Sanchez. He married Mary Jo Sanchez in Santa Fe, NM on July 02, 1977.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Frutosa and Antonio Sanchez, brothers; Johnny Sanchez Sr, Gilbert Sanchez Sr, Mike and David Sanchez, sister; Corrine Sanchez and nephew; Orlando Sanchez Jr, sister-in-law; Esther Sanchez.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Jo Sanchez, sons; Michael (Marla) Sanchez and Chris (Bernadette) Sanchez, granddaughters; Elizabeth Sanchez, Emily Sanchez, Sarah Porras and Melissa Porras, brother; Orlando Sanchez Sr. and many other nieces and nephews.

Robert was employed at SFPS for 32 years and was married for 44 years. He enjoyed storytelling, hunting, fishing, watching westerns and most of all spending time with his granddaughters and dog Fluffy.

We would like to thank the wound clinic and their wonderful staff. Also, thanks to New Mexico Heart Hospital and their staff.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church.

Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 12:15 p.m. following interment at Lamy Cemetery.
