Robert Cantwell
Mr. Robert Cantwell, born on September 5, 1959 in Dearborn, Michigan, to Harold and Mary Cantwell, passed away at age 59 on February 11, 2018 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He attended graduate school, completing both an MBA and masters in mathematics. Robert served in the US Army and he also worked as a computer programmer at Los Alamos National Labs. Robert helped to open the way for disabled athletes in New Mexico by being the first wheelchair racer to compete in the 10k run for the zoo in Albuquerque in 1995. Robert is survived by his mother, Mary Cantwell; sisters, Sandy Falkiewicz née Cantwell and Cathy Cantwell; niece, Victoria Cantwell; nephews, Steve Falkiewicz and Matt Falkiewicz; stepson Che Hopkins, and stepdaughter Maya Hopkins. Robert loved reading, wheelchair racing and skiing. Services will be Private. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
