Robert Pineda

ROBERT PINEDA Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, went home to the arms of the Lord on Saturday, December 1, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice LaRibbas Pineda; siblings: Frankie and Guadalupe; mothers of his children Prescilla Campos and Geraldine Garduno; and nephew Davy Chavez. He is survived by his three children: daughter Suzette Lucero and husband Eric; sons Joaquin Pineda and Robert J. Pineda; grandsons Joaquin Jr, Jerome, Robert, E.J., Eric and Joshua; sister Dolores Chavez and husband David; brother Arturo Pineda; Goddaughter Melissa Pineda; nieces Alice Martinez, Monica Pineda, Melinda Pineda and Consuelo Pineda-Hancock; nephew Dennis Chavez; many great nieces and nephews and friends. Robert was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe and a college of Santa Fe alumni. He was a C.P.A., former County and City manager of Santa Fe and Las Vegas, NM and a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Robert will be remembered for his free spirit, quick-wit and his love for horses and everything western. A Visitation was held on Friday December 7, 2012 at 6 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. A Christian Mass was held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 417 Agua Fria St., Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Carmelite Monastery, 50 Mount Carmel, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
