Robert "Robbie" Martinez

Robert M. (Robbie) Martinez, 37, of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015.Robbie was a kind and gentle soul that made a friend everywhere he went. He had an infectious smile and always a hug and kiss for everyone. He was always available to anyone who needed his help, including a haircut. He was employed by Country Club Gardens for many years and was skilled in various trades. He enjoyed family gatherings, camping and fishing with family and friends. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Grace Chavez, Maternal grandfather, Eleverio Chavez, paternal grandmother, Mary Martinez, paternal great grandmother, Feloniz Carabajal, aunt, Christina Chavez Mares, uncles, Jacob Carabajal, Enrique Carabajal, Joe Chavez, Eusebio Sanchez, cousin, Clarence Sisneros, special close friends: Isaac Jaramillo, Adam Pincheira, and Anthony Castor. He is survived by his parents, Robert F. and Connie Martinez, brothers, Jacob Martinez, Dominic Martinez (Sarah), all of Santa Fe, NM, Eric Mares (Ashley) of Rio Rancho, NM, sister, Tracy Romero of Albuquerque, NM nieces and nephews, Noah, Darius, Christina, Quinton, Zaria, and Matthew. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church at 6 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church at 10 am.
