Robert Roybal-Vigil, age 42 a resident of Espanola, NM passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his favorite grandfather Johnny "Meads" Ortiz, and many other relatives. He was born in Santa Fe in 1969. He did many great things in his life, but was also a backhoe operator, part-time plumber, and journeyman electrician, working state to state. He loved being at home most of all. He was a loving and sincere man-his family meant more to him than life itself. Through good and bad Robert always wanted to believe the best in people. He was loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Charity, sons Dylan and Garrett, stepdaughter Tori Lopez, grandmother Nellie Ortiz, parents Olivia and Martin Roybal, sister Patricia Roybal, brothers Martin "JR" Roybal and Paul Vigil, as well as many nieces & nephews and family members. Many thanks to his family and friends who were able to help and visit Robert his last few weeks of life, he will thank you someday. "my husband, you are finally free of all the pain and grief, we will be together again. You will always be loved and missed. Your last wish was fulfilled; you are home".
