ROBIN RENEE COX
Robin Renee (Jungling) Cox, 63, of Santa Fe, NM, formerly of Clarksville, IA, was welcomed into God’s house in Heaven on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 after losing a battle she fought valiantly with a very long illness.
She was born November 22, 1954, daughter of Harry and Darlene Wilmot Jungling. She married Glenn Cox on April 7, 1983 in Charlotte, NC. There, she brought her wonderful son, Brian into this world, who she loved with all her heart. Of her vast talents, she was first and foremost a wonderful mother.
Robin worked as a fashion designer and photographer, and later owned and ran an advertising business while living in Charlotte, NC. She and her family also lived in Aiken, SC, Denver, CO, and Los Alamos, NM
In her youth, Robin enjoyed camping with family, singing, writing music, and playing guitar with the Girls Scouts and her sister and friends. Later, she enjoyed theater, and acted in community playhouse productions.
She spoke German, loved music, languages, and science, and was a life-long learner in topics she found interesting, mainly theology, history and science.
Robin was confirmed in the Community Church in Clarksville. She was a devout Christian and spent many hours studying the scriptures. She is survived by her son Brian; her husband Glenn of Los Alamos, NM; and her sister Joy and son-in-law Carey Krull of Brooklyn, IA. She has many nieces and nephews; Lynde Krull Boettcher, Christian (Jen) Krull, Dean and Deana Houston and grandchildren, Sage and Uwen Boettcher and Bernadette Krull, as well as her dear friend and caregiver Julia Gonzales.
Robin was an exceptional woman and dear friend to those who knew her; selfless and full of life and love for everyone she knew. She lives on in our hearts and memories and will be forever missed by her family and friends.
