Ronald Lee Urban

Ronald Lee Urban, 68, of Taos passed away on August 11, 2010. He owned and operated Ronnie Lees Supper Club. Ron was a very civic minded person and served as a board member of the Taos Chamber of Commerce. He founded the church, Religious Science Center of Light. He was known for the many good things he did for local charities such as Dream Tree Project and helped in feeding the homeless. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hilah and Wilbur Urban, brothers, Richard and James Urban. He is survived by his brothers, Don Urban of Ohio and William K. Urban of Miami Beach, FL, nephews, Don, Richard, Andrew and William, nieces, Esther and Lillian. Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the Spanish Baptist Church on 212 Ribak Street on Ranchitos Rd. (across Santistevan Lane) with Practitioner Alicia Hanlen officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Taos Coalition For The Homeless is preferred.
