Ronald (Ron) L. Rodela went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 18, 2022 in Santa Fe, NM. He was born on July 11, 1967, in Santa Fe, NM.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Tito and Clory Rodela. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, daughter, Amanda and her partner Aaron. Brother, Tito Rodela and late wife Vicki. Sisters, Pamela Rodela-Tapia and husband George, Vivian Slagoske and husband Steve, Monica Brewer and husband Mike, Bernadette Rodriguez and husband Mark Rodriguez. Also, many nieces and nephews. 

Ron was a devoted, caring, and loving husband. Ron and Debbie were best friends before they began dating. They got married March 12, 1993 and were married for 29 years. Throughout those 29 years, Ron would always tell Debbie that all he wanted for her was to be happy, and he did whatever he could to make that happen. Ron was also a loving father to one daughter, Amanda. With his love and support, Amanda was able to complete her Master’s degree and is now a practicing Physician Assistant. He would always remind her how important her patients were and would always emphasize the importance of treating them with care and respect. Ron had many friends and with each one he had a friendship that lasted a lifetime. Each of his friends were very important to him. Whether they were new friends or old friends, he had a special place in his heart for them all.

Ron was an extremely hard worker. He began working for Betatron Electronics in Albuquerque 18 years ago. He started his career at Betatron in the purchasing department, ultimately advancing to the position of Sales Manager. He liked to call himself ‘The Machine’ for rarely missing a day and his relentless work ethic. Ron was instrumental in growing the business into the multimillion-dollar manufacturing facility it is today. His influence in creating a successful and valuable business allowed Betatron to be sold early this year. The sale ensuring the long-term sustainability of the business and financial security for all its employees.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations, 417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505. A reception will follow at the FOP, 3300 Calle Maria Luisa #3, Santa Fe, NM 87507.
