Rosaura T. Martinez

Rosaura T. Martinez – Age 92 a resident of Española passed a way peacefully on Wednesday October 11th, 2006. She was born in Coyote, NM on June 21, 1914 to Jose Zacarias and Vicentita Trujillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benito Martinez; son, Fred A. Martinez; brothers: Zacarias, Fermin, Venceslado and Leandro Trujillo; daughter-in-law: Nancy L. Martinez; and nephew, Willie Trujillo. May their souls rest in peace. She is survived by her children: Josephine Martinez and her husband Salvador of Española, Manuel R. Martinez and his wife Ruth of San Pedro, Vicentita Ortega and her husband Santos Carrasco of CA., Joe Z. Martinez of CA., Juan B. Martinez of Española, Francisco A. Martinez and his companion Diane Carver of CA., Marie P. Kinney and her husband Jim of CA. and Tina Baca of AZ.; two special granddaughters: Frances Diaz and Alicia Velasco; 24 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; special friend, Joe E. Vigil and family; the Jaramillo family from Medanales; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Saturday October 14th, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Celebration of the Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday October 16th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Joe E.
