Rose G. Martinez

Rose G. Martinez passed away peacefully at home in El Prado, NM on Nov. 9, 2015 at the age of 94. She died of causes incident to age and was surrounded by her loving family. Mom was born and raised in Des Montes, NM. She remembered fondly those early years of rural life growing up in a large family. She married the love of her life, Felizandro Martinez, on July 13, 1942. They were married for nearly 57 years when he passed away in 1999. Mom is survived by her children; Gleecy, Jacob, Diana, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all those who cared for mom and made her last years so comfortable. Interment was held on November 16, 2015 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery .Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
