Rose Lopez

Rose Lopez, 91 passed away on May 12, 2018, she was a resident of Santa Fe, NM. Rose was born on February 16, 1927 in Chamisal, NM to Juanita Lopez and Lino Lopez, she was married to Charlie S. Lopez. She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie S. Lopez. She is survived by her daughters: Micca Tays from Albuquerque, NM, Sandra Bivens from Santa Fe, NM, Arlene Funck from Santa Fe, NM, grandsons: Ira Harris from Alameda, CA, and Joshua Bivens from Albuquerque, NM, son- in- laws: Tom Tays from Albuerque, NM and Paul Funck from Santa Fe, NM, sister: Lela Martinez from Chimayo, NM, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Rose worked for state Government for 30 years, then enjoyed her retirement. She was loving, kind and generous. All who knew her will have endearing memories of her and will miss her wit, laughter and strong faith. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM. Interment will be at 3:00 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
