Rosina F. Sena

ROSINA F. SENA, 90, life long resident of Santa Fe, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her Santa Fe home. She was born November 26, 1928 in Santa Fe, the daughter of Josefita and Francisco Ortiz. She married Polo Sena on April 23, 1952 in Santa Fe. He preceded her in death in 2004 following 52 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Josefita and Francisco Ortiz; 3 brothers, Luis Ortiz, Emilio (Gabby) Ortiz, and Alfredo Ortiz; and 3 sisters, Lourdes Sena, Susie Quintana, and Socorro Montoya. Rosina is survived by her children, Mark Sena (Trish) of Chula Vista, CA; Louie Sena (Yvonne) of Chula Vista, CA; Bernadette Gonzales (Bob) of Las Cruces, NM; Tessa Inumerable (David) of San Diego, CA; John Sena (Jennifer) of Winchester, CA; and Lucille Segura (Paul) of Chula Vista, CA. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Steven, Scott, Andrew, Maggie, Jacob, Natalie, Julia, Joseph, and Sophia; along with 5 great grandchildren, Lillyanna, Asah, Santiago, Avia, and Rio. She is also survived by her sister, Carlotta Rodriguez and her brother, Albert Ortiz (Madalyn), both of Santa Fe. Rosina was a loving wife, Mother, sister, grandmother, Aunt and friend. She is loved by her family and friends for her wonderful cards and letters. She was a devout Catholic. She was a 55 year member of the Stitch-a-Bit Sewing Club. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday, May 5th, 2019 at the Rivera Family Kiva Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am Monday, May 6th , 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1301 Osage, Santa Fe. She will be placed beside her husband at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 am. Pallbearers will include grandchildren, Matthew Gonzales, Michael Inumerable, Andrew Sena, Maggie Segura, Jacob Sena, and Joseph Sena. Honorary Pallbearers will be the remaining grandchildren.
