Ruben Romero

Ruben Joseph Romero 69 of Santa Fe passed away peacefully on Friday January 11, 2008 with his Family at his side after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on Feb. 22, 1938 to the late Teodoro and Tillie Romero of Ranchos de Taos. He worked as a distributor and salesman for a National Bread Company. He was an avid sports fan, loving friend, and had a sense of humor that could brighten up anyone's day. He had a deep love for his family and the outdoors. He had an optimistic view of life and he never complained about a thing. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and Poppy, and most of all a friend. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, son Ruben Jr., and wife Jaclyn, daughters, Cindy, Nettie Ann Salas and husband Tony and Patty, brother Gaby Romero and wife Virginia, sisters, Angie Romero, Lisa "Peewee" Romero and husband Edward, grandchildren, Miriah, Keaton, Aubre`, Justin, Amber and Shannon, as well as many other nieces nephews relatives and friends. Elvis has left the building.
