Ruben S. Martinez

Ruben S. Martinez, PA 74, of Taos passed away on July 10, 2013. He was the owner of Rubens Plumbing & Heating for over 50 years, and was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Taos. He is preceded in death by his father, J. Salomon Martinez, brother, Anthony R. Martinez, sister, Catherine Martinez. He is survived by his mother, Lisaida Martinez, wife, Maria Arellano and son, Joseph JJ Martinez, children, Ruben F. Martinez (Roberta), Esther Romero (Frank), Roger Martinez (Sharon), Tomas Martinez (Gena), Beverly Ortiz (Ernest), mother of his children, Frances Martinez, grandchildren, Dominic and Isaac Cordova, Vicente Romero, Alejandro Jeantete, Paula, Ryan and Antonio Martinez, Melanie and Leon Maldonado, great-grandchildren, Jason and Maye Montoya, sisters, Diana Valerio (Raymond), Patsy Trujillo, Teresita Valerio (Tony) and brother, Ted Martinez (Gloria) and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos. Funeral Mass was held on July 15, 2013. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment followed at the Dolores Cemetery.
