In Loving Memory of Rudy Valdez Jr

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rudy, age 35, on Tuesday, October 1st. Rudy was a beloved son, brother, father, nephew, uncle, and friend, whose love and laughter touched everyone he met. His heart of gold was always ready to give and support others, especially the youth, who always came first. Rudy played and coached several sports, his favorite being football. He loved fishing, camping and anything outdoors.

Born on December 6, 1988, Rudy was the center of our family, bringing joy and light to every gathering. His sense of humor and kind heart made him a cherished presence in our lives. Rudy was a devoted father to his two beautiful daughters, Alicia and Lilly, who were his everything. He found immense joy in spending time with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Rudy is preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Montoya, who he dearly missed. He is survived by his loving family, including his father Rudy Valdez Sr, sister Darlene Persons (husband Brett and their two children Harper and Remi), brother Raymond Valdez (daughter Tessa), brother Anthony Montoya (sons Michael and Orion), Grandmothers Juanita Valdez-Arguey and Gloria Martinez and countless other family members who will miss him dearly. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the youth programs like the Boys and Girls Club in Rudy's memory.

Rest in peace, Rudy. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
