Ruthy Salazar

Ruthy Salazar, 49, of Santa Fe, Passed Away January 11, 2009 due to complications of cancer. She is preceded in death by her moher Dolores Marquez, sister Dorothy Espinoza, and grandmother Emilia Duran. Ruthy was born January 1, 1960 in Santa Fe to Dolores Marquez and Carl J. Vaughn. She was a truck driver for Dick Simon Trucking and recently a photo technician at CVS Pharmacy. She is survived by daughter Yolanda Archuleta (Mark) of Rowe, sister Emily Martinez (Florentino) of Santa Fe, brothers Jesse Carl Vaughn of Santa Fe, and Wesley Jim Vaughn of Espanola, nieces Crystal Lovato (Porfirio), Jessica Smith (Ken), and Rachel Roybal, all of Santa Fe, special friend Ron Raffensparger, grandchildren Brandon Salazar, Melissa Archuleta, and Mark Archuleta Jr. Ruthy is also survived by 9 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Her family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Staff of Odyssey Hospice and Dr. Luis Padilla Paz for their loving care. A Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Santa Maria de la Paz with a rosary to follow at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Santa Maria de la Paz with internment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe.
