Sadie Martinez Ochoa

Sadie Martinez Ochoa, our beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother peacefully passed away at 105 years old on June 20, 2018 surrounded by her beloved family. She was born April 5th, 1913 in the coal mining town of Monero, NM to Abran and Ramona Martinez. Sadie graduated from Cuba High School in 1937. Her love of learning continued long after graduation as she continued learning throughout her long life by being an avid reader. Sadie’s focus in life was her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Sadie is preceded in death by her parents, Abran and Ramona Martinez, 10 brothers and sisters, husband Juan Ochoa, son J.J. Ochoa and daughter Adelina (Lena) Ochoa. She is survived by her sons Robert Ochoa (Marina) and John Ochoa, daughters Annabelle Ochoa, Patricia Ochoa and Louella Ochoa Hardin (Frank), grandchildren Leonila Ochoa, Nathan Hardin, Brian Hardin and Maria Elena Ochoa Gutierrez (Bobby), her great grandchildren Drake Miera, Dakota Hardin and Jordan Hardin. and her numerous Nieces and Nephews. Rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at 10:00 am with funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist’s Catholic Church followed by interment at Rosario Cemetery.
