Salomon Vasquez, 79, of Arroyo Hondo passed away on January 16, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Toribia Vasquez and brother Nelson Vasquez. He is survived by his wife Dolores Vasquez, children Lawrence (Roseann), Domonick (Beverly), Tammy Vasquez and Leona Dimas (Ray), brothers Cecilio (Imogene), Procopio (Betty), Ruben (Sarah), Nestor (Cathy) and Macario Vasquez, Tony (Delphia), Eddie and Ben Sisneros, sisters Lorena and Jane Sisneros, mother-in-law Marie Sisneros, grandchildren James, Michael, Devin (Julie), Jordan (Florence), Marisol, Ariana (Chris), Maggie (Adam), Ray, Damien, Alysha and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Chacon, NM and spent his life doing what he loved, working as a miner. He was a real jokester, loved watching western movies and tinkering in his yard. He was a wonderful man, loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Evening Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 6 PM at Good News Christian Fellowship. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11 AM at the El Rito Presbyterian Church in Chacon, New Mexico with interment to follow at the El Rito Presbyterian Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Dimas, Devin Vigil, Jordan Banks, James Vasquez, Michael Vasquez and Mariano Aragon, Honorary pallbearer is Damien Vasquez.Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home, Taos.
