Sammy Ortiz

Sammy Ortiz 1934 – 2021 Left us Monday, August 9th, he joins his parents Juan and Pauline Ortiz, Eddie and Cecilia his brother and sister and Michael Ortiz his grandson. He is survived by Mary Ortiz, Sam (Bea), Ray (Kathleen), Bob (Karen), Ralph (Judy), Pauline, Leonard (Lori), Arthur and Anna.  14 Grandchildren, Melissa, Andrea, Hilary, Raymond, Alana, Sarah, Sophia, Matt, Ryan, Katie, Bianca, Emelia and Juan and three great grandchildren. He also leaves an extended family of nieces, nephews and good friends. He loved his family unconditionally, he also loved his Cowboys, horseracing and the Elks Club.  Services will be Monday, August 23 at 10:30 at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light, located at 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe. Reception to follow at the Elks Club, 1615 Old Pecos Trail.
