Sara Lenore Maxwell

Sara Lenore Maxwell (née Yeamans) passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, at the age of 43.

Sara had deep love for animals that was matched by her reverence for nature and connection to music. She often said her soul felt most at home beneath a canopy of trees with her close friends (of the two- and four- legged variety). Sara’s natural aptitude for all things culinary was a source of joy for all those with whom she shared her delicious creations. Her vivacious and compassionate spirit will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving mother, Marilyn; father, David; brothers Charles (Jennifer) and Benjamin (Katelyn); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her surviving family also includes the many close friends she held dear throughout her life.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 1st at 11:00 AM at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos, New Mexico. A reception will follow.
