Sarah Vences

Sarah Vences, age 51, a resident of Dixon, NM passed away on February 19, 2013. She was born on November 23, 1961 in Embudo, NM to Ernestina Gonzales and John Patrick Sweeney. Sarahs pride and joy were her son and grandson. She loved all her family. She was a care giver to a few immediate family members. Sarah is preceded in death by her mother, Ernestina Gonzales, maternal grandparents Quirino and Corina Atencio, paternal grandparents Miles and Meretita Sweeney, mother-in-law Maria Vences, uncle, Hector and Angie Atencio and aunt Ann Sweeney. She is survived by son, Ricardo Vences Jr. and Jessica Fay Rivera, grandson Ethan Xavier Vences all of Houston, TX, father, John Patrick Sweeney of Salt Lake City, UT, sister Patricia and Richard Pace of Las Vegas, NM, brothers, John and Stella Sweeney of Albuquerque, NM and Bruce Gonzales of Dixon, NM, aunt, Florence Atencio of Dixon, NM, uncles, Nelson and Vita Atencio of Albuquerque, NM, Dennis and Laura Atencio, John and Helen Atencio, Fred Atencio all of Dixon, NM, Miles and Sylvia Sweeney and Mike and Marty Sweeney all of Las Vegas, NM, niece Jenelle Gonzales, nephew Michael and Caroline Pace all of Albuquerque, NM, nephew Brian and Tamera Sweeney of Detroit Michigan, father-in-law Angel Vences of Houston, TX, and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service was held on February 27, 2013 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Espanola.
