Seferino Eduardo Ortiz

Seferino Eduardo “Sef” Ortiz , age 42, entered eternal life peacefully on July 9, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Sef was born July 7, 1975, the Son of David and Celina Ortiz. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Armando and Guadalupe Ortiz and Maternal Grandparents Jose Carpio and Frances Griego, Uncles Ray and Jesse Griego and Ervin Brady, Aunt Berlene Ortiz, and Godfather Joe Lujan. May they Rest in Peace. He is survived by his girlfriend Lyndsey Teakell, Daughter Elysia, Son Joseph, Brothers Francisco (Lisa) and Diego, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, relatives and friends. Sef was a graduate of New Mexico State University, worked for the Zia Credit Union and was the managing partner of Quick MVD Services in Espanola. He was very hard working and helped many people during his working career. He was a parishioner of Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe, a member of SPMDTU and Union Protectiva. He was respectful, kind and loving to everyone. We will greatly miss him. The family wishes to thank the Medical staffs at Presbyterian Espanola, Christus St. Vincent, UNM Hospitals and Dr. Stephanie Lucero for the best medical care they provided him. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 7:00pm at the Sacred Heart Church. The Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque, NM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00am. In Lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice can be made.
