Seneca Sandifer

Seneca passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Seneca was born October 12, 1980 to Doris Sandifer and Jeffrey E. Coverdale, Sr, in Oklahoma City, OK. Seneca grew up in Roswell, NM and Junction City, KS. Seneca accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at an early age. He was a journeyman electrician and proud of his trade. He loved playing baseball for traveling teams, and he pursued his love of pets by raising and nurturing his favorite pit bulls. He was fascinated with how things worked when he was younger and would spend hours taking his toys apart to see how they were put together. Seneca is survived by his mother, Doris Sandifer, Roswell NM, his father Jeffrey E. Coverdale, Sr., and stepmother, Lucille Coverdale, Melbourne, FL., two beautiful daughters, Nevaeh Sandifer and Jayda Sandifer, of Espanola, NM, sister Tasha Johnson, Roswell, NM., brother Jeffrey Coverdale, II and wife Katie Coverdale, Denver, CO., grandmother Jannie Coverdale, Oklahoma City, many nieces, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins, friends and step family. He is preceded in death by his sister Lakita Sandifer, his maternal grandmother and grandfather Ada Ruth Cox and L.D. Sandifer Sr., and his paternal grandfather Charles Sydney Coverdale. A Celebration of Life service for Seneca Damaron Sandifer, 38, of Santa Fe, NM will be Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 305 Calle Salazar, Espanola, NM. The body of Seneca will then be taken to Roswell, NM for services at 10 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory, 2609 South Main, Roswell, NM 88203. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery, Roswell, NM, 3101 Main Street, Roswell, NM 88203
