Severo Ortega

Severo Ortega, 71, a resident of Coyote, NM, went into the presence of his Lord on November 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dolores A. Ortega, his grandparents, who raised him, Esequel and Amobrosia Ortega, his parents Paul and Rosario Ortega, uncles who were like brothers, Emilio and Esequel Ortega. He is survived by his only daughter, Liana Ortega Trujillo and her husband Donald Trujillo of El Duende, his grandchildren, Vanessa Trujillo, Johnny Trujillo, and Madalene Trujillo, great grandchildren, Analyssa Trujillo and Richard Severo Trujillo. Also surviving him is his only brother, Henry Ortega and wife Lillian, sisters, Bertha Branch and husband Milner, Susan Sandoval and husband Mike, Ila Chacon and husband Tommy, brother in law, Belarmino Martinez and wife Gloria, sisters in law, Marcella Suazo and husband Willie, Dorela Brazil and husband David, Bebe Akel and husband Alan, he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Serving the family as pallbearers will be: Milner Branch Jr. Joseph Sandoval Thomas Chacon Paul Ortega C.J. Ortega Belarmino Martinez Honorary Pallbearers: Vernon Ortega, Rudy Ben Velasquez, Ralph Branch, Emilio Herrera, Randy Morfin, Pres Salazar, Johnny Trujillo. A Rosary was recited on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Coyote, NM. Interment followed Mass at the Coyote Cemetery.
