Sharon Rawlins Bauch

d. June 2, 2023

Sharon Diane Rawlins Bauch, aka “Sharon Journeyer,” a longtime resident of Taos, New Mexico, passed away June 2nd, 2023 at 70 years old, in her home with her immediate family and best friend at her bedside (along with gentle care from Red Willow Hospice towards the end), now liberated from decades of health complications. Soon after, a vibrant rainbow greeted her renewed Angelic form and her body adorned & graced with loving farewell’s at her divine funeral. In loving memory, we who had the fortunate honor of knowing her, remember with great joy: our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and dear Friend. Sharon enjoyed hobbies of drum/flute playing, painting, photography, loved animals, and bedazzled others: with her beaming vibrant smile & crystal blue eyes; fantastic knack for style; unwavering playful sense of humor; adventurous creative imaginative spirit; delicious home-cooked gatherings; sweet kindest heart filled with compassionate loving peace; entrusted conversations empowering others with a trusting ear, generous uplifting advice, wildly witty stories, spiritual feminist wisdom; and joyful sing-alongs with dance to her favorite music, guaranteeing everyone to smile with joy and laughter. Sharon’s accomplishments included: being a caring devoted Mother, world travels, avid studying of spiritual knowledge, and graduating from the Northern New Mexico Community College in Practical Nursing. Sharon is preceded in death by both of her parents Lucile & Addison and sister Zollie. She is survived by her four daughters: Calina Lafawn, Juniper Maria Lucile, Nuna Jade, and Carly Eva; her four grandchildren: Gina, Cielo, Lola, and Coco; her siblings Addine and Addison; and her loving niece Chandra. All her beloved descendants say she was their “best friend” cherishing the priceless memories and compassionate love she abundantly shared. Her lessons on how to see the silver lining, to believe in the magic and beauty of earthly nature, and to love each other unconditionally - have set her family up well. Sharon will forever be deeply missed, and prayed to in ceremony for ongoing connection as we continue to cherish her Spirit. Thank you to all who donated to her funeral last year. Future memorial plans will be updated on her obituary page within the Rivera Family
