Sinfie (Sinforosa) Roybal Ortiz 87, passed away on April 7, 2018 in Santa Fe, NM. Sinfie was born on October 19, 1930 in El Rancho, NM to Guadalupita and Cresenciano Roybal. She married Toby (Tobias) Ortiz on October 27, 1951. Sinfie is preceded in death by her husband: Toby Ortiz, infant son: Johnney, parents: Guadalupita and Cresenciano Roybal, brothers: Medrano (Urcinia) Roybal, Eberto (Elvira) Roybal, Antonio M. (Frances) Roybal, sisters: Teresita (Roybal), (Ramon Sandoval), (Juan) Tafoya, Rosella (Roybal) and Ramon I. Ortiz, brother- in- law: Teofilo Vigil, sister-in-law: Mary (Maes) Roybal, father & mother-in-law: Joaquin & Clorinda (Salazar) Ortiz, sister-inlaw: Mary (Ortiz) & Arturo Romero, brother-in-law: Antonio M. & Flossie (Lujan) Ortiz, sister-in-law Lola (Ortiz) & Celedon Gonzales, sister-in-law: Gloria (Ortiz) Lujan. She is survived by daughter: Yvonne Ortiz (Roman J. Solano Sr,), granddaughter: Angelique (Joseph) Holder, great grandson: Oryon R. Blay, daughter: Debbie (Fred P.) Vigil, grandchildren: Tommy Vigil, Paul & Amanda Vigil, great grandchildren: Heaven, Pablo, Tommy Jr., Amanda Melina, Matthew, Emily, sister: Esther (Roybal) Vigil, brother-in-laws: Joe Lujan Sr. and many members family members and friends. Sinfie was born in El Rancho NM, she graduated for Pojoaque High School as Valedictorian in 1948. Upon graduation she was employed by the State Of New Mexico for the DMV. In 1955 she worked for a Saving & Loan in San Pedro, California. In 1964 she began her 30 year career at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center and retired in 1994 as Chief Payroll Clerk. She belonged to Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 2951 Santa Fe Ladies Auxiliary, E.P.O.E. Does of Santa Fe. Thank you to all the family, friends and neighbors whose love is greatly appreciated during the loss of our beloved Sinfie. Special thanks to Heritage Home Health and Hospice Staff for their loving care: Sonia, Aimee and Deacon Jerry. Mr. Tim Rivera and the staff at Rivera Funeral Home and Crematorium we would like to thank you for all of your help at this time in our lives.
