Siria Maria Lujan, lifelong resident of the Espanola Valley, went to be with our Lord Jesus on Good Friday March 25, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Espiridion and Juanita Vigil of Chimayo, her in Laws Miguel Y Ascencion Lujan of Santa Cruz, her Grandson Carlos Lujan, Sister Nettie Martinez and two brothers; Salvador Vigil and Sevedeo Vigil. She was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was our spiritual Rock and taught us that through God everything is possible. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Manual N. Lujan, her sisters; Vera Crouse, Adelena Miller and her husband Donald all of Albuquerque, and Andreita Martinez of Santa Fe. Also surviving are her Children; Catherine Salazar and her husband Jerry of Santa Fe, Theresa Roybal and her husband Jim of Espanola, Ronny Lujan and his wife Olga, Ruben Lujan and his wife Patsy and Rudy Lujan and his fiancé Tina all of Espanola, Eighteen Grandchildren and Nineteen Great Grandchildren. A wake service for Mrs. Lujan was held on Sunday March 27, 2005 at 7:00 pm at Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola, Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday March 28th at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia De La Santa Cruz De La Canada, the committal Service followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving the family as Pallbearers were; Matthew Salazar, Randy Lujan, Michael Lujan, Larry Roybal, Richard Lujan, and Raymond Lujan.
